$10 billion deal with Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.

Next week there will be a key vote in Washington, DC to approve a new arms deal with three Mid-Eastern countries. The U.S. will equip its "allies" with several classifications of weapons systems in an effort to make the administration's intentions toward Iran's nuclear program crystal clear. This $10 billion deal with Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will better equip them to prepare for any instability due to Iran's resistance to curbing its present track toward nuclear viability.

Since negotiations have stalled over their disputed nuclear ambitions, Iran has continued to move forward with the development and installation of the next generation of centrifuges, which can process uranium two to five times faster than current centrifuges. That, coupled with Iran's announcement that they are expanding their nuclear facilities, has put pressure on Washington to show that its threats against Tehran are not hollow.

The U.S. has been sending this message through several avenues, including increasing its air and naval presence in the Persian Gulf, selling weapons packages to its allies in the region, and by conducting large-scale multilateral military exercises in the vicinity. This latest weapons deal is meant to reinforce clearly that U.S. intentions still include a military option.

In this latest arms deal there is a wide spectrum of armament, all of which would be of great support should overt action need to be taken with Iran. Under the agreement Saudi Arabia and the Emirates would receive the necessary resources to protect themselves from an Iranian attack on their energy infrastructure. The United Arab Emirates (as well as Saudi Arabia) will receive a shipment of 26 advanced F-16 Desert Falcons and as yet unspecified long-range precision-guided munitions.

The particularly interesting aspect of this deal is what Israel will receive: aerial refueling tankers. Iran is presently out of range of Israel for fuel reasons. What has probably deterred them from action before now has been this "fuel shortage" dilemma. Israel presently has 10 such tankers. This arms deal would provide an "unspecified" number of additional tankers, greatly enlarging its jet fighter support systems. Each tanker can service from four to eight fighter aircraft, depending on type and specific model.
Israel is also due to receive anti-radiation missiles. They, most likely, will be advanced versions of the AGM-88 missiles. These would significantly upgrade Israel’s ability to suppress enemy air defenses by neutralizing radar sites as a precursor to following strike packages.

With recent events in Boston still in the forefront of our thoughts and prayers, it is interesting to speculate on how such international strategic agreements touch domestic policy and actions. Shortly after the bombing a Saudi national was held as "a person of interest," classified as a terrorist, then (after several meetings with Saudi officials) declassified as a terrorist, denied by the administration (Napolitano, DHS) he was ever a "person of interest," then cleared and released—necessarily by someone quite high up the ladder.

Is there any linkage between our "allies" in the Mideast and these strange, and as yet unexplained, occurrences? Was regional support for our international diplomacy objectives held hostage to affect this suspect’s release. At present the administration may be holding its breath, hoping that this line of questioning will be "distracted" by other stories in the news stream, some of them very deserving. We pray there was no connection.

THERE IS NO POWER BUT GOD, JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY GHOST!

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6b) The powers of this world system are phantom powers that last only for a brief moment and then vanish. Our backslid institutions of religion have sold truth for the imitations of sociology and psychology because they claim to be the new authority. All you need to do is to look at what they have produced. The picture is in the Holy Bible and God calls it, “Mystery Babylon.” This “Harlot Woman” looks rich and beautiful to unspiritual people, but to old saints it looks exactly like God has named it.

Before we talk about the Powers of God by His Holy Ghost, let’s take a quick look at this phantom power. “These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” (Revelation 17:13, 4-6) Please notice how she hates the life of the Bible Believing Saints. She is drunk with the blood of true Saints of God. If you are a Bible believing literalist, you are in their cross-hairs.

When I was “Born Again” in 1952, I could never imagine such a church world as now exists. Evangelical churches were everywhere and the most liberal among us were still people that loved the Bible and believed in basic truths. Being a Pentecostal, I considered our churches as the foundations of truth. Finding a solid Pentecostal church is now almost impossible. The new mindset has become “User Friendly.” Give the multitude religion without purity and holiness, and they will dance in your aisles. The new church world is quickly defending the sodomy lifestyle and condemning anyone that disagrees. It is religion without the power to change human nature.

Biblical Christianity is by nature Supernatural. When you remove the Supernatural powers you leave God out of the picture. Every one of us is a lost sinner with a corrupt nature until we are invaded by God’s Holy Ghost. He only invades our lives by our conscious need of Him. When the church operates in the flesh and depends only on flesh, there are no results but maybe a little positive thinking. The Antichrist started this process decades ago. Robert Schuler and others were pioneers of Satan’s dark delusions

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” (Romans 13:1-2) The Romans Road Book of Holy Scripture is believed by many to be the heart of Christianity. I agree with that but only if you believe the whole book, not just the part you like. This Book settles the question of our need of His Power.

This is where the Supernatural Gifts of the Holy Ghost become absolutely necessary. Any minister without the gift of discernment has become a sitting duck. From the “Word of Wisdom,” to the ninth gift, “Interpretation of Tongues,” we must return to the Holy Ghost powers. There is no possibility of anything that is solid Christianity without God’s Spirit. These gifts are straight from God and the Spirit manifests them wherever a believer is tired of religious flesh. The Book of Acts should be torn out of your Bible if you deny the availability of Holy Ghost power.

Look at the enemy of the church in Jerusalem after the death and resurrection of the Lord. The leader of that assault on the Apostles and the great company of new converts was Saul of Tarsus. He made havoc of the church in this city of God’s choice. Saul was then ready to start going to other centers of revival to end what he believed was error. On his way to Damascus the supernatural powers from heaven stopped him in his tracks. Fighting against God’s plans has always been a dead end.

The Holy Bible gives us the picture. “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” (Acts 9:3-6) The devil lost his prime witness as the Supernatural hand of God’s Spirit moved to defend the church. Without a doubt this kind of glory will be seen again.

Then Herod took his shot at stopping the church filled with the Holy Ghost.“Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” (Acts 12:1-5) 

Not only was Peter miraculously delivered, but Herod fled the city only to be slain by the same angel that delivered Peter. “And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.” (Acts 12:23)

Our world will take notice when the church world is full of the Holy Ghost.

Understanding the Appointed Times This section of the web site provides general information about the most significant mo'edim (or "appointed times") that are important to Jews all over the world. All of the Biblical mo'edim are prophetic and reveal great truth about the plans and counsel of the LORD God of Israel. 	The feasts and holidays are part of the larger mosaic of Jewish time that expresses the corporate life cycle of Jews all of the world. 	The Jewish Day

	Since the Jewish day (yom) begins at sundown, you must remember that a Jewish holiday actually begins on the night before the day listed in a Jewish calendar. For example, Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) occurs on Nisan 27, which actually begins after sundown, Nisan 26:

Thus a given Jewish holiday spans two days on our Gregorian calendar. Most Jewish calendars do not indicate the previous night as part of the holiday. Observance of a holiday begins at sundown on the day before it is listed in the calendar!

In the example above, Yom HaShoah is observed both on Thursday the 5th (after sundown) and Friday the 6th (during daylight hours). Note that if a Jewish holiday were to occur on a Sabbath, it would be moved to the previous Thursday on the calendar. For example, if Nisan 27 happened to begin on Friday at sundown, it would be moved to Nisan 26. Accessing a current Jewish calendar is essential to observing the mo'edim!

	Weekly Mo'edim

	The Jewish week (shavu'a) begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday (Shabbat). The Jewish sages have argued that Shabbat is the most important of the mo'edim, since it is explicitly commanded to be observed in the Aseret HaDiberot (Ten Commandments).

The Sabbath foreshadows the olam habah (world to come) and our restored dignity as children of the New Covenant. Weekly Torah Readings are considered appointments with the Bat Kol, the Voice of the LORD.

	Monthly Mo'edim

	The Hebrew calendar is a lunar one, and Rosh Chodesh ("Head of the Month") symbolizes the renewal of the new moon (month), when the moon appears as a sliver in the sky. Rosh Chodesh is marked by special liturgy.

Rosh Chodesh symbolizes renewal and restoration. Just as the moon wanes and disappears at the end of each month, but returns and waxes again to fullness, so we suffer until the return of our beloved Mashiach Yeshua, who will restore the glory of God fully upon the earth.

Spring Mo'edim Spring is the start of the Biblical Year and is marked by two of the Shelosh Regalim (three annual pilgrimage festivals): Pesach (Passover) and Shavu'ot (Pentecost). Shavu'ot is held seven weeks (or fifty days) following the morning after Pesach.

	Summer Mo'edim

	In the summer there occurs a three week period of mourning that begins with the Fast of Tammuz and ends with Tishah B'Av (during July/August). However, after this somber time, the romantic day of Tu B'Av, the 15th of Av occurs. Originally a post-biblical day of joy, it served as a matchmaking day for unmarried women in the second Temple period (before the fall of Jerusalem in 70 C.E.).

	The summer holidays help us prepare for the second coming of the Messiah: Fast of the 17th of Tammuz - Start of the three weeks of sorrow [Tammuz 17] Tish'ah B'Av (Summer) Last day of the three weeks of sorrow [Av 9] Tu B'Av - Harvest and Romance [Av 15]
	Fall Mo'edim
	The Jewish civil year begins in the fall (though the Biblical year begins in spring). Preparations for the fall holidays begin with a thirty day period of repentance during the entire month of Elul. The following ten days begin with the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah, on Tishri 1) and end with the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur, on Tishri 10). These first ten days of the new year are called the "Ten Days of Awe" (i.e., aseret ye'mei teshuvah: עֲשֶׁרֶת יְמֵי תְּשׁוּבָה).
	The Fall Feasts reveal the rapture of the kellat Mashiach (Bride of Messiah), the second coming of the Savior, the national conversion and atonement of Israel, God's original-covenant people, and - especially regarding Sukkot - the final restoration of the earth in the olam habah (world to come): Elul and Selichot - preparing for teshuvah Yamim Nora'im (Days of Awe): Rosh Hashanah and Trumpets (Yom Teru'ah) [Tishri 1] - The rapture of the kellat Mashiach (i.e., the church or Bride of Christ). Tzom Gedaliah (Fall) [Tishri 3] Day of Atonment (Yom Kippur) - [Tishri 10] Israel's national salvation 3. Tabernacles (Sukkot) - [Tishri 15-21] A picture of the millennial kingdom Hoshana Rabbah - [Tishri 21] The seventh day of Sukkot Shemini Atzeret - [Tishri 22] The 8th day of assembly following Sukkot Simchat Torah - [Tishri 23] Celebration of the giving of the Torah
	Winter Mo'edim
	The winter holidays remember special times when God acted on behalf of His people so that they would triumph over their enemies, and therefore they prophetically picture the final victory to come in olam ha-bah, the world to come.

	National Holidays of Israel

	Since the creation of the State of Israel in 1948, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel has established four new Jewish holidays (three of which occur in the month of Iyyar (Apr/May): Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Memorial Day [Nisan 27] Yom Hazikaron - Israel Memorial Day [Iyyar 4th] Yom Ha'atzmaut - Israel Independence Day [Iyyar 5th] Yom Yerushalayim - Jerusalem Reunification Day [Iyyar 28th]

	Fast Days (Tzomim)
	In addition to Yom Kippur, The Talmud (Tractate Rosh Hashana 18b) discusses four fast days (based on Zechariah 8:19) that commemorate the destruction of the First and Second Temples and the exile of the Jewish People from their homeland. In addition, two other fast days are mentioned in the Rabbinical literature, yielding a total of six tzomot (seven if Yom Kippur is included). Fast Days of the Jewish Year
